Why Moving Stories?
To present choral music on film inspired by COVID stories submitted by you
Stories from You
We invite you to share your personal stories of this past year, either in a short video or a written text with a photo.
Feel free to be creative!
What has changed for you? What is the same?
What have you struggled with?
What were the silver linings?
What do you know now?
What gives you hope?
We hope to hear a broad range of stories in order to transform these experiences into inclusive art pieces featuring visual storytelling, the spoken word and choral music.
The collected stories or story themes will be paired with performances of choral music presented on video, and later, when we can do it safely, live in concert. Each video, in its unique way, will attempt to portray the essence of the personal experience that was shared.
We’re grateful to be here as a community—and for all of you, willing to share your stories of these challenging times. With Moving Stories, we hope to collectively heal and create something beautiful together.

I do not have a Facebook or Google account. Is there another way to offer my story?
Of course. Please feel free to send your story to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you looking for a specific kind of story?
Not at all! We hope to hear the truth of what has happened for you this past year. We have all been on a roller-coaster of emotions, so feel free to share whatever is most important to you.
Planned a wedding? Changed your job? Lost a loved one? Home-schooled your kids? Got a new puppy?
We appreciate your time and want to engage with you where you’re at right now.
